On 10 November 2011, the Seminar “Standardisation in Research and Innovation, practical tools for the dissemination and implementation of research results” was organized by DG RTD in Brussels for NMP project partners. This seminar gave to the participants a good understanding of the use of standards as means of exploitation and dissemination of results and provided instruments for the standardisation process. Mr. Renato OTTONE, director of Research & Development Department of ALESAMONTI and scientific coordinator of SOMMACT project, was invited to make a presentation on the work of SOMMACT on the afternoon session on “Success stories”.

Project concepts and expected outcomes were the object of a dedicated presentation at ALESAMONTI’s booth.

On 10 November 2011, the Seminar “Standardisation in Research and Innovation, practical tools for the dissemination and implementation of research results” will be organised by DG RTD in Brussels for NMP project partners.

EMO Hannover 2011 (19 to 24 September), with its 2.037 exhibitors from 41 different nations, has confirmed its international reputation as an unparalleled showcase for innovations. EMO Hannover attracted some 140,000 visitors from more than 100 countries.

SOMMACT concept was presented at ALESAMONTI’s booth with the slogan: “SOMMACT starts getting results!” and was well appreciated by many visitors.

EMO2011: Sommct starts getting results

During EMO2011 (HANNOVER, 19-24 September 2011, Hall 13 Booth D86 ) ALESAMONTI makes available a boring/milling machine equipped with an anthropomorphic robot to illustrate SOMMACT approach.

World Manufacturing Forum 2011

Alesamonti has attended the World Manufacturing Forum held in Cernobbio on 16th-17th May 2011.

MidTerm project meeting

The last project meeting has been held at Congress Center “Le Robinie” in Solbiate Olona (Italy) on 12th April 2011.

The meeting has been attended by Partners, the European Project Officer and Project Technical Assistant in charge to follow the project. The agenda has included a trip to Alesamonti factory for attendees in order to take part to take part to the presentation of SOMMACT demonstrator.
